The great accumulation of wishes of the Kagyu Monlams is led by the monks of the monastery Karmae Sangha Duche, the main seat of the Karmapa in Rumtek. These aspirations, carried by the words of wisdom of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, help ease all that is unfavorable and to cultivate all that is beneficial. These practices carry great blessings.

You can participate in this great accumulation of wishes for the hapiness of all beings: through the recitation of prayers, by donating to Karmapa’s monastery in Rumtek, or by making a kata and light offering for the event.

Kagyu Monlams is an accumulation of wishes dedicated to the happiness of beings. It offers the opportunity to recite prayers emanating from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas’ wisdom. These aspirations are naturally directed towards the cessation of all that is unfavorable, and the cultivation of all that is beneficial.
